Food Handler Training

Food Handler Training is now conducted online through a partnership with Lane County.

• ONLINE Food Handler Training is now offered through a partnership with Lane County. A permit issued from this website is valid for 3 years in every Oregon County. The fee is $10 and you can return to the website anytime to print duplicate cards at no additional cost. In-person food handler classes are no longer offered in Linn County. Neighboring counties may still offer these classes. Contact their Environmental Health Program for more information.
• Food Handler Training Manuals are available below in the following languages: English, Espanol, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Korean. 
• Food handlers should have a copy of Personal Hygiene Guidelines For Food Service Workers. The is manual is available below.
• ​The State of Oregon also requires food service employees to be trained to administer emergency first aid to relieve any person choking on food particles. A list of providers offering first aid training is below.
