Veterans Services

Linn County Veterans Services Office was established by the Linn County Board of Commissioners to assist veterans and their dependents who want to obtain benefits from Federal and State agencies.

We identify potential claims and entitlements; assist in completing necessary applications; and assist clients in obtaining supporting documents or materials.

Our goal is to ensure that veterans and their dependents receive maximum benefits to which they are entitled.

We are advocates for Linn County Veterans and their dependents.

We assist with VA disability claims, education benefits, pensions, life insurance, medical benefits, home loans, burial benefits, vocational rehabilitation, survivor and dependent services and more.

New dental program

Linn County veterans now have access to dental care thanks to a new program from the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs.Veterans must apply through the Oregon Health Plan — either on-line (https://www.oregon.gov/odva/Benefits/Pages/Dental.aspx) or by telephone, 1-800-832-4580 for Linn County or 800-273-0557 through Medicaid.

Eligibility includes: live in Oregon; are not eligible for the Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid; are a veteran as described in the ORS 408.225; have income at or below 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Level
